Mary Binsfeld is the founder and designer of mitzi collection in San Francisco, CA.

She is an Alumni of FIDM and has worked in the apparel industry over 25 years. 

Mary worked at Nomadic Traders for 12 years as their lead designer.  Her designs have been featured in many catalogs and have also been displayed in boutiques across the country.

Although Mary’s specialty is in Design, she has never been afraid to become involved in every aspect of the garment business, from cutting fabric in the sample room, to shipping and tracking samples, and learning graphic design.  In her work with Nomadic Traders, Mary was also responsible for the in-house design and layout of the company catalogs.  All these experiences gave her the confident to create her own label, mitzi collection.

Mitzi Collection designs translate the latest runway trends into styles for contemporary missy customers. Her motto is “not to look like forever 25, but 35 will do”.
